Decision making support system. The users of this system are sales managers, whose main interests lay in the field of remedies distribution. This public Web service provides power analysis and report building facilities to its users. For example, each user of the MapTrac application may get a precise answer on the question "Where (in what geographical region or even in which pharmacy) a specified remedy or remedy group can be sold with the highest revenue". And that is just one case of thousands possible query combinations. Query results are combined in well-designed informative reports that include tables, bar diagrams and colored maps. This is a typical client/server application with very light HTML client generated by application server core implemented with ASP. Data storage and query processing functionality is implemented on MS SQL Server database. Dynamic mapping functionality (zooming, map moving, layers visibility control, map object selection) is provided by specially designed Java applets.
